Lanita Layton 


Lanita Layton is presently consulting for Bottega Veneta’s Retail launch in Canada. 

Previously she held the position of Managing Director for Hugo Boss Canada for  seven years , repositioning the long established brand in the Canadian retail landscape. Prior to joining Hugo Boss, Lanita had a ten year tenure at Holt Renfrew , taking on responsibilities in Menswear, Gift and Gourmet , and shoes and accessories as Vice President.

 In addition, Lanita originally studied at Emily Carr University of Art and Design, and she joined the Board of Governors of OCADU two years ago to continue with her passion for Art and Design. 

As a food , wine, and travel fan , Lanita has also been judging nationally for the “100 Best” Restaurants magazine for the past four years. 

Joseph (Joey)  Natale and Lanita first met in the clothing industry, and bonded over their passion for food and wine and travel. 

Joey has owned a “private label “ hosiery company for the past nine years , however he is a passionate oenophile now working on his sommelier accreditation. 

Avid fans of travel and “experiential dining”, Lanita and Joey have truffle hunted in Tuscany, taken cooking classes in Bali , Mexico, and Portugal among other places, and love to host dinner parties on a regular basis, and they’re thrilled to be hosting for this worthy cause , “Homes for Dinner”  on November 17th.
