Keren Morehead

Keren is a Metallurgy & Materials Engineering graduate from the University of Toronto from 8T9.  Keren’s career started with 20 years in Automotive Industry working for General Motors in Oshawa & Detroit in the areas of Supplier Quality, Stamping, Production, Facilities Engineering (including the Corvette Launch in 1996) and Quality Engineering at Oshawa Truck.  Since 2009, Keren has worked for Ontario Power Generation in Nuclear Supply Chain Quality, Darlington Operations on shift in the Control Room and for the Darlington Refurbishment Project (Breaker open started October 16th 2016!).  Currently, Keren is the Senior Manager for Supply Chain at Darlington Nuclear.  Keren’s Aunt, Sheryl Noonan (aka Wanda), inspired the Wanda’s Arts Awards (presented at Tie One On) for Homes First starting in 2015 which has been an incredible success and inspiration to the residents and social workers who support them!  Keren is a member of the Homes First Events Committee.

Vesna Gmazel


Vesna is a risk management professional, with extensive experience across various industries, including financial services,manufacturing and utilities. Currently, with TD Securities, she previously worked in both large (BMO) and smaller financial institutions, and focused on credit risk management and analytics for consumer banking. Prior to financial services, Vesna had a work-term at a Canadian diplomatic mission, following an earlier career in environmental risk management and engineering.


A triple alumna of the University of Toronto, Vesna has an MBA, a graduate degree in environmental engineering and an undergraduate degree in chemical engineering. In addition to having been a member of the U of T Engineering Alumni Board, she currently sits on another alumni board, is actively involved in several industry and community organizations, and has taken up folk dancing over the past 5 years. Vesna values being connected to the people,communities and institutions that have been instrumental and formative in her life, and lends her support to various charitable causes.
