FOUNDER AND CEO SIREN COMMUNICATIONS

Ann Layton is the founder and CEO of Siren Communications, Canada’s leading travel and tourism PR firm. Siren currently represents luxury clients in 15 countries including hotels, cruise lines, airlines, and tourist boards.  Prior to starting Siren, Ann was worldwide Vice President of Public Affairs and Communications for Fairmont Hotels & Resorts. She was named one of Canada’s Top Entrepreneurs by Chatelaine magazine, and has served on many international committees including the Prince of Wales Business Leader’s Forum in London, England, and the World Travel and Tourism Council. She graduated with a Master Degree in Economics from the London School of Economics. Her first job in England was working for The Stranglers, she paid her way through university working as a flight attendant, and perfected her French and Spanish in the nightclubs of Europe. 

 

Rajiv Maikhuri

Rajiv Maikhuri is originally from New Delhi, where he played professional badminton for India. He moved to Los Angeles to work in film and television before moving to Canada full time in the 1990’s.  Maikhuri has worked on a wide variety of film projects around the world and is currently developing a reality show concept in New York. Rajiv is active in the Indo/Canadian business community and was recently chosen to accompany both Premier Wynn (2016) and Prime Minister Trudeau (2018) on trade missions to India. Rajiv is a dedicated foodie passionate about cooking and entertaining.
